Sourcing a single item
Upload a picture along with your quality and price expectations here and we will work with our suppliers to find or produce what you desire. If we find the required item and you choose not to proceed there are no charges involved. Some companies charge by the hour to source something they may never find or if they do the cost or bother may be too much for the customer. All of our products are available and can be delivered to your home. We do not source from vendors where acquiring theproduct is logistically unrealistic.

If we find the item you were inquiring about you have the option of receiving our sourcing results for a one time payment of $30

Sourcing results will include the name of the establishment you may purchase your item from. You contact the supplier yourself to negotiate price, delivery and then provide the installation yourself or by a contractor. If you do not wish to proceed you have no obligation to pay and you may continue looking for your product on your own.

Sourcing and Supply
If we are successful in locating an item that meets your expectations and you don't want the hassle of actually acquiring the product yourself you have the option of having us proceed with acquiring the items on your behalf . You will receive from us a professional quote outlining the products requested along with any shipping charges and taxes.

There is no fee required for this service beyond our quoted price for the goods being purchased.

We take care of all of the shipping and details for you. Items will be delivered directly to your home and payment will be made to Victorian Essence.

Design Consultation
A complete design consultation provides you with expert ideas and guidance for your home or landscaping projects. We will provide you with an outline of suggested accents and the approximate cost to complete the project. Implementation of the plan can then be done by yourself or another professional.

Our Design Services fee schedule is as follows:

$110.00 first hour; $90.00 each hour thereafter
We charge a minimum of two hours
Additional fee for sites greater than 80 km driving distance from Aurora, Ontario

For this fee, you will get:

* Scaled drawing of your site in your choice of color or black & white
* Two copies of the drawing
* Detailed report explaining drawing
* Requirements shopping lists
* Timeline for implementing the plan
* Description of products used within the plan
* Detailed notes on special issues with your site
* General plant and care suggestions
* A list of local nurseries
* Installation recommendations

If you are looking for a landscape design drawing, we usually walk the property with you to discuss what you are looking for or to change in your landscape. We then take measurements, decide on the materials required, and create your drawing at the office. For more detailed designs, we will schedule a follow-up visit.

At this time we present you with your detailed hand-drawn, landscape design (to scale), complete with detailed footnotes and a shopping list, a timeline & sequence for installation, and general design and care guidelines. The designs are easy to follow and to read by you or your landscaper for installation...And we are always happy to answer your questions by phone or email to help assist you during your landscape installation.

The cost of your design will depend on the number of hours spent on creating it. The size of your property, amount of pre-existing plant material, level of detail you desire, time walking the property and consulting with you, will all affect the cost. A typical property front yard plan usually runs about $300. A complete plan (front & back) for a typical lot usually runs about $350-$400. Fees for ongoing consultation on larger projects can be negotiated.
